Brainwave offers a range of sessions from two hours to a full day, designed to help caregivers and whānau to understand what children need for the best start in life. Providing practical advice about what really matters in the early years, through to adolescence, these sessions support parents and whānau to make positive choices for their tamariki.
Your session will be tailored to the needs of your group, their experiences and circumstances. Brainwave can also offer specifically developed sessions for high school students and young parents, or for groups of whānau who have experienced trauma.
We are incredibly grateful to have the support of our philanthropic supporters—the Wright Family Foundation—who enable us to offer many of these sessions at subsidised or no cost.
‘’On behalf of our Wellington Fijian community, I wanted to say a huge thank you / vinaka vakalevu to you for your stunning presentation. The participants thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of your presentation and many were moved by the information that you shared about brain development in the early years of life. Your culturally appropriate, Pacific-friendly approach was a bonus. All the best with your work and we look forward to having you back in the near future.’’
