Description
Adolescence is a time of major growth and change in the brains, bodies, learning, and relationships of taiohi. This workshop explores what contemporary research tells us about this important stage, and why it can be a time of opportunity for supporting rangatahi development and wellbeing. Participants reflect on the role of supportive adults, safe environments, and meaningful opportunities in helping taiohi navigate challenges and strengthen their potential. In the full-day (8 hours) extension, we further explore risk and protective factors, case studies, scenarios, frameworks, and models to inform reflective practice.
